Displaced Christians in Mexico Share the Gospel

More than a year after being expelled from their village because of their faith, a group of Christians is now sharing the gospel with their new neighbors. While a few families in the original group abandoned their faith for the promise of getting all their possessions back from the villagers, the other families remain strong in their faith. Two families moved into homes provided by a local church, while seven other families moved onto property owned by a local Christian. Several of those families have since moved into permanent housing and opened a small grocery store, which provides not only an income but also a means of sharing the gospel in their community.

• Praise God for these families that have remained faithful to Jesus and for His provision for them.
• Pray that the Lord will bless the grocery store business and also use these families to share the gospel with many people in their neighborhood.
• Pray for the families that turned their backs on Jesus in order to get their homes and possessions back. Pray that they will see that Jesus is worth more than any earthly possessions, repent, and begin to live for Him again.
