Uganda Muslim Relatives Kill Pastor for His Faith

Muslim relatives of a pastor in eastern Uganda took him from his home and killed him for his faith this month. Pastor Adinani Bulwa had fled Muslim opposition in northern Uganda and returned to his home village in January before he was killed on March 10. He was 42. His wife reported that they began to share the gospel with other family members, and four trusted in Christ in February. They were warned to stop evangelizing, and two weeks later the pastor was pressured to recant his faith at a meeting of the extended family. He refused to do so, stating he was ready to die for Christ. In March, several Muslim relatives appeared at his home, took him, tortured him and then killed him. He leaves behind his wife, Zabiina, and five children, aged 4 to 16.
