India’s Bastar Region Sees Surge in Anti-Christian Violence

Over the last several months, hundreds of Christians in the eastern part of India have been forced to leave their villages because of their faith. Hindu radicals employ a systematic effort to attack Christians, forcing them from their homes, assaulting them, and vandalizing and destroying churches and homes. Hindu leaders have publicly declared that Christians are not wanted in the area. Persecution of Christians is growing worse throughout India under the rule of India’s radical Hindu government.

  • Pray that pastors and believers will be strengthened in their faith and will not be controlled by fear.
  • Pray that the Lord will give believers peace and comfort, and that He will provide for their material needs.
  • Pray that the Lord will usher in a new government that will honor the constitution and uphold freedom of religion for India’s religious minorities.
