A young Catholic mother was kidnapped and raped by a Muslim who tried to force her to convert to Islam and marry him. A 20-year-old mother of two young children was abducted from her father’s home in April by five Muslims, including Ali Raza, who had been trying to force her into an illicit relationship. One day when she was alone at home, she was abducted at gunpoint and then repeatedly raped by Raza, who threatened to kill her parents if she called for help. Raza tried to force her to convert to Islam and marry him by forcibly taking her thumbprint as a signature on a blank paper, but she refused to renounce her faith in Christ. When Raza realized she would not marry him, he drove her to a town 270km from her home and left her there on the side of the road. A kind Muslim woman helped her to eventually make her way home. The village elders did not believe her when she accused Raza of kidnapping and raping her, and he has denied doing so. Raza and those who helped abduct her are threatening her to drop the case, which she will not do. She and her father have sought help from a Christian legal advocacy group, who recorded her statement before a magistrate. They are hoping the court will order the arrest of Raza and his friends.

Pray that the Lord will heal this young mother of the emotional and physical trauma of her abduction and repeated rapes.
Pray that the magistrate and court system will pursue this case and that Raza and his accomplices will be arrested and convicted of the terrible crime they committed.
Pray that their legal advisors and lawyer will have wisdom from the Lord as they pursue justice for her.
